  • Aaron Broussard

    Partner & Trial Lawyer

Aaron Broussard does not remember making the decision to be a lawyer. He does not recall ever considering another profession. This may have been because his father was both a lawyer and judge for most of Aaron’s formative years. While Aaron cherishes the example set by his father, he knows there is something in his core nature that drove him to the law. More than anything, Aaron loves winning when no one else can see the path to victory. Sometimes winning impossible cases takes deep thought and creativity, while other times only sheer determination and a hard head will get the job done. Aaron is calm and collective at the office, but he comes to life in the courtroom. Contrary to what the public believes, most lawyers rarely enter a courtroom. Courtroom experience is a key differentiator in law— lawyers who take cases to trial know what really matters and get better settlements. A big part of being a good lawyer for people is maintaining focus on representing your client’s interests. Aaron believes that loyalty to the client comes before everything, including your own pocketbook and especially your own ego. Their interests come first, and that’s why he sees every case through to the end, exhausting every path available. When many people meet with a lawyer for the first time they are apprehensive and unsure, but Aaron has a way of putting new clients at ease. Aaron’s client can often feel his dedication in their first meeting with him and they quickly let go of any preconceived fears and worries. They know they are in good hands. Most people just want to know that someone is going to fight for them, win or lose. That is what Aaron provides.

  • Steven Broussard

    Partner & Trial Lawyer

Steven Broussard has always been a man of the people and for the people. He’s served the public in many ways—first as a member of the Navy, next as a lawyer, and then as a judge. All this before making it to his mid-30s. The story of his rise to judgeship is an interesting one. He beat a 30-year incumbent for the seat in Sulphur, Louisiana by walking nearly the entire city door-to-door to meet the voters. He introduced himself and made genuine connections. His dedication to the people and the law won him the seat, and he served as a judge for 18 years, during which time he also continued to practice law. After retiring from his special judgeship in 2002, Steven returned to practicing law full time. He focuses now—as he always has—on justice and accountability, making sure that legal proceedings are fair and corporations take responsibility for their actions. He strives to ensure clients receive due justice and the appropriate compensation for their losses, no matter what it takes. In every case, Steven calls on his decades of practicing law, his unique perspective as a former judge, and his own experience as someone who’s suffered a life-altering injury to passionately tackle the toughest of cases—even those that seasoned attorneys sometimes decline. Where his peers see an uphill battle, Steven sees a welcome challenge.
